Global carnival efforts generate $175+ BILLION in revenue annually. Only 2-5% go to black/indigenous businesses and culture bearers. Led by Ashé Cultural Arts Center, the AfriCarnaval Initiative will delve into the concept of equity within our community and devise strategies to foster economic equity. Along this journey, we aim to develop policies that can be shared with local and global partners.
